Seven Sisters Market – London

Roché recently assisted in the completion and reopening of Seven Sisters Market in London. After its closure in 2021 due to the dangerous condition of the building, Places for London (TfL’s Property Company) worked to reconstruct the market, renovating the space into a lively hub for vendors.

THE CHALLENGE

The market required high security to protect the space during closed hours, providing peace of mind to the owners of its 40 stalls. They wanted to maintain visibility into the market for passers-by.

Our solution

P76 Perforated Steel Security Shutter

Roché installed five P76 shutters on the outside of the premises, securing the market’s entrance points, and a further three shutters internally. The external shutters were powder-coated to RAL 1602020 Opulent Green to perfectly match the signage.

The P76 has a single skin curved steel slat which is perforated for vision and ventilation. A steel housing and guide system provides strength and security, while a choice of motors support a wide range of opening sizes up to 49m².
