All security shutters contain the same basic components; the slat curtain, guide channels and the box which contains the shaft assembly and motor (if electrically operated). Guide channel and box sizes are dependent on the size of the door or window to be secured and the type of slat used. The choice of slat is yours, taking into account factors such as size, budget, security and vision level.
All our shutters can be customised to be as attractive as possible, whilst still providing the utmost security thanks to the nature of their design. Various designs are available including vision shutters which can allow the bar area to remain visible when the roller shutter is down.
Steel shutters have a galvanised finish as standard. Aluminium shutters generally come with a choice of standard colours such as white, brown and grey. If you cannot find a colour that matches your requirements nearly all shutter profiles can be powder coated any RAL colour for an additional cost.
Depending on size and security requirements, we provide vision roller shutters and solid shutters.

For example, a 3m wide and 2.5m high shutter, electrically operated via key switch and in a standard colour, could cost anything from £1,000 for solid steel to over £5,000 for a Eurolook or i100 SR4 rated shutter.
